Welcome to the Figure Skating Program at Blazers Ice Centre!

Learn to Skate Program

     -Learn the basics in our Learn to Skate Program for Tots, Children, Teens, and Adults.
     -The United States Figure Skating Association (USFS) is our governing body and we follow their Learn to Skate guidelines.
     -We offer Basic Skills testing and host USFS Test Sessions sanctioned by USFS.

Private Lessons and Contract Ice

    - Beyond the basic, we offer private lessons with members of our Figure Skating Staff. Our instructors work with children and adults in a variety of disciplines.  
    -Dedicated ice times (Contract Ice Sessions) are available for figure skating practice and lessons. Inquire at the front desk for a current listing of Figure Skating/Contract Ice Sessions and any applicable restrictions and rules.

Competitions

     -Every November, Blazers Ice Centre hosts Blazing Blades, a Basic Skills Competition for both beginning and intermediate level skaters.
     -Our coaching staff also Travels with skaters to participate in Figure Skating Competitions in surrounding states.
     -We send those who qualify to the USFS Regional Competitions and the biannual State Games of America in Colorado Springs.

Figure Skating Club

     -The Sooner Skating Club of Oklahoma was created in 2003 to offer support to our Figure Skating Program. It is comprised of skaters, their families, coaches, and other interested individuals.

Exhibitions

     -Our exhibitions are open to all of our skaters - join us for a program performance.
